Dr. Jordan Abel is an award-winning author and artist from the Nisga'a Nation. He teaches Indigenous Literatures and Research Creation at the University of Alberta. His new groundbreaking autobiography NISHGA uses memoir, transcriptions of talks, archival documents and photography to address the complicated legacies of Canada's residential school system.
