Science World, WWEST (Westcoast Women in Engineering, Science and Technology) and iSTAND (integrative STEM Team Advancing Networks of Diversity) are teaming up to ignite your excitement for exploring science with your students! This interactive, hands-on workshop will provide resources, strategies and ideas for all classrooms-- no expertise with science content is required, though science teachers are certainly encouraged to attend! We will highlight the flexibility and diversity of STEAM curriculum using activities that are relevant to every grade level and subject.
You’ll receive lesson plans for all the activities, and you’ll even be entered for the chance to win a free guest admission to Science World (because, after all, science is more fun with friends). This workshop is open to all K-12 educators in BC.
