On The Road – 100 Mile House and Region

The kickoff trip of the 2024/25 OTR School year will begin October 1st in the heart of the Cariboo Region at Mile 108 Elementary School.

Science World will bring the traveling road show to schools in the Cariboo region over two weeks this October. The team will visit sixteen elementary schools total from SD 27 as well as some independent and First Nations Schools Association schools in the region.

On this tour, the team will visit 108 Mile Ranch, Lac La Hache, Forest Grove, Canim Lake, 100 Mile House, Lone Butte and Boston Bar. They will continue the following week igniting wonder in students in Williams Lake and the surrounding communities.

Science World’s fantastic On The Road program brings fun, high-energy live demonstrations and activities to communities all around the province that pique science curiosity, boost science literacy and inspire future science and technology leaders. Learn more about the meaningful impact On The Road makes across BC!

Thanks to our donors, we are able to visit schools across BC at no charge. Special thanks to the South Cariboo Community Enhancement Foundation and tour partner Drax for their support in reaching schools in and around the 100 Mile House region.
