What time should my guests and I arrive?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the schedule party. Allow time for parking, if needed.

Where do I meet the party hosts?

Please assemble your group in the Lobby and check-in at the Membership Desk. Your party hosts will meet you 5 minutes prior to your party time.

What happens with late arrivals?

Please inform us upon check-in at the Membership Desk of any guests that will be arriving late. All guests arriving late guests must check in at the Membership Desk and they should inform us that they are your birthday party guests and a team member will escort them to the party room.

How many adults are required to attend?

We require at least one adult per party. We recommend one adult per five children.

Do we receive a guided tour?

All visits are self-guided. You will have the opportunity to explore Science World at your leisure after the party. An earlier arrival time to explore Science World is available upon request for parties booked in the 3:00pm timeslot.

What meal is included?

Your party includes a meal from Triple O’s for all guests with a side and beverage. Please refer to the meal order form for full details including menu option. Please be sure to include any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Fill out your meal order form here.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Your private party room is pre-set with decorations. Due to time constraints and out of respect for other clients which may have a birthday party booking before and/or after yours, we do not permit additional decorations.

Is my deposit refundable?

The $100 deposit is refundable if you choose to cancel at least 14 calendar days before the booked party.

Can I use a friend or other family member’s membership to receive the member’s rate?

Membership and its privileges are non-transferable. If you are purchasing a membership before your party date, please notify us and we would be happy to adjust your booking to the member’s rates. For more information about memberships, please visit scienceworld.ca/membership for more information.

Can I bring adults in place of some of the children in the base birthday party package?

Our base birthday party package includes a total of 12 attendees, a maximum of 10 children and a maximum of 2 adults. Extra guests beyond the maximums of the base package can be added for $24 + GST ($22 + GST if you are a Science World Member) to a maximum capacity of 20-30 guests (children and adults) depending on the party room.
