The Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society - BC Chapter (CPAWS-BC) will be onsite to host some fun activities as part of a pop-up event for our Earth Matters exhibit. Play some trivia and build an ecosystem to learn about the rare glass sponge reefs in the deep, dark waters just off Vancouver and how you can help protect them.
CPAWS-BC will also be sharing information about the Young Leaders in Conservation Program that teaches youth how to advocate for conservation in BC.
About the Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society - BC Chapter: CPAWS-BC defends public lands and the ocean. The organization works with Indigenous, provincial and federal governments with the goal of creating large protected and interconnected areas that safeguard biodiversity for healthier nature and communities.
