Ready for hands-on fun? Discovery Studios are here to make learning science exciting for kids and their grown-ups! Adults, you’ll learn how to support your little scientists at home.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, build bonds, discover science, and take home ideas for more DIY fun.

Den Building Workshop

Create your own fun hideaway!

Kids 4+ can use big cardboard panels to build dens, castles, and anything their imaginations can dream up.

Discovery Studio Dates & Times

  • Tuesday, January 21: 10am–12pm, 3–4:30pm
  • Wednesday, January 22: 10am–12pm, 3–4:30pm
  • Thursday, January 23: 10am–12pm, 3–4:30pm
  • Friday, January 24: 10am–12pm, 3–4pm

Come build sky-high dens with us in the Discovery Lab!


Good Stuff to Know:

  • Free with admission! Recommended for ages 4+ with a caregiver.
  • Space is limited to 5 participants at a time. Activities take approx. 20 minutes.
  • Get tickets on the day of—first come, first-served. Reserve at Admissions.
  • Take home your creations (activity permitting)!
  • Happens monthly in the Discovery Lab. Check back for dates, times, and activities.
