Quick Pickling Workshop

Join us for a 1.5 hour workshop in the Our World Gallery on how to extend the life of your garden produce, and their deliciousness, with our Quick Pickling Workshop!  Learn how we grow food here at Science World and some gardening methods you might want to add into your little patch of dirt. Afterwards, you’ll learn the basics of safe pickles practices including an introduction to canning equipment. You’ll then create your own jar of fresh, refrigerated pickles to take home using vegetables from the Science World’s food gardens.
