BodyWorks

Learn About the Human Body And Celebrate Your Individuality

More than just a gallery about the heart, skeleton and internal organs, the BodyWorks Gallery promotes positive messaging about your body and helps visitors to gain a better understanding about how the choices they make impact their bodies.

BodyWorks encourages discovery and curiosity. Test your skill by putting together a skeleton before the buzzer goes off! See if you can guide a sperm safely to an egg, or watch what happens to food as it travels through your body.

In the Lab Zone, you can look at yourself on the cellular level, by exploring DNA, genetics, and the rapidly expanding field of genomics. Visitors can hear stories and take part in interactive demonstrations, while learning about cutting-edge research.

Note: The "Where Do I Come From" section of BodyWorks contains frank discussion and images of reproduction, sexuality and childbirth.
